Reporting for Jury Duty PDF Print E-mail

REPORTING FOR JURY SERVICE:  You will be instructed to call the court's recorded message the day before you are scheduled to report.  The recorded message can be reached after 4:00 p.m. at  866-894-4703 and will either confirm your service or advise of changes and cancellations. The number is toll free.

It is very important that you call before reporting for jury service.

TERM OF SERVICE: You will be notified by mail of a date to report.  On that date, you will participate in the jury selection process.  If selected, you will serve until the trial has ended and your term of service will be completed.  Most trials last an average of 3 to 4 days.  If you are not selected, do not report again until you receive another notice.  As a federal juror, you will be required to serve a minimum of three days or on one trial.  Each day you report will count toward the three day minimum requirement.
