What's New in CM/ECF PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, November 5, 2011: CM/ECF Upgrade to Version 5.1.1

 

This upgrade includes major enhancements to the user interface.  Please review the CM/ECF 5.1.1 New Features for Attorneys guide for more information.  The Civil Case Opening Instructions have been updated to incorporate the new features as well.

 

 


Friday, October 1, 2010: Attorney Case Opening

 

Beginning October 1, 2010, all attorneys will have the ability to file civil cases directly through CM/ECF.  For more information please see the Attorney Case Opening option under the "ECF - Electronic Case Filing Menu"

Wednesday, August 19, 2009: Updated Procedures for CM/ECF Registration

 

Procedures for ECF attorney registration have changed.  Please follow these steps to register for electronic case filing:

 

  • To register for an account on this Court’s Electronic Case Filing System (ECF), please complete the following information.
  • Click button "Email Registration to Court". NOTE: Using the button is preferred. Please do not scan and print if it can be avoided.
  • If a dialog box asks you to choose between a "Desktop Email Application" and "Internet Email", please choose "Desktop Email Application".
  • You will be sent an email asking you to confirm receipt. Please reply to this email.
  • Login and Password information will be sent via separate e-mail once your confirmation email is received by the court.
