Transcript form for court appointed counsel - CJA 24        CJA 24 Instructions

Forward the appropriate transcript form(s) directly to the official court reporter identified in the docket. If more than one court reporter reported the proceedings you are requesting, a separate form must be used for each court reporter. If the docket reflects a court reporter other than one of the Official Court Reporters listed below, forward the necessary forms to the Court Reporter Supervisor. Upon receipt, the court reporter(s) will contact you with a cost estimate and payment terms.

Electronically recorded hearings where no court reporter was present must be placed on a separate form and forwarded to the Court Reporter Supervisor for assignment to a certified transcriber. Upon receipt the transcriber will contact you with a cost estimate and payment terms.
