The Eastern District of Wisconsin is pleased to announce that that on November 8, 2024, U.S. District Court Judge Byron B. Conway was sworn in as the district’s newest Article III judge. His predecessor, Judge William C. Griesbach, administered the oath. Judge Conway fills the seat vacated in November 2019 when Judge Griesbach took senior status. Judge Griesbach will continue to serve the district as a senior judge. Judge Conway’s duty station—like Judge Griesbach’s—will be in the Green Bay Division of the Eastern District.
