Online Criminal Debt Payments

.

Customers that sign-in to Pay.gov

What is happening?

  • Effective 9/16/2023, all users that already have a Pay.gov account must connect their account to a designated secure sign on service: ID.me or Login.gov.
  • Pre-existing Pay.gov usernames and passwords are no longer valid.

How do I create an ID.me or Login.gov account?

Why is this happening?

  • An executive order has mandated that all US Government agencies and services, adopt a more secure sign-in method for government websites. Pay.gov is complying with this order by replacing the current sign in process with services called Login.gov and ID.me.

Who's affected?

  • Only users with active accounts or those that choose to create Pay.gov accounts are affected.
  • Please note you don't need an account to make most payments. To pay as a guest, simply navigate to the payment form needed and complete the required information.
