In recognition of ongoing public health concerns involving the coronavirus (COVID-19), the court issued the following order on April 23, 2020 [LINK].  Among other things, the order postpones, until June 1, 2020, all jury trials, and cancels naturalization ceremonies and other public events scheduled at the courthouse during that same period.  The Eastern District of Wisconsin will continue to follow the developing public health situation.  The court is taking action to do its part to suppress the spread of the virus, including use of social distancing, eliminating in-person hearings, having employees telework, and fostering increased hygiene vigilance. Because the court provides an important public function, we will do our best to continue full court operations.
