Pro se (non-prisoner) litigants may now register to receive Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) by email, in place of paper copies delivered by mail. When a pro se party in a case has registered and consented to receive electronic notice, the court and counsel will no longer serve paper copies of filings on that party. Electronic service through CM/ECF will satisfy the service obligation.

To take advantage of this option, a completed Registration and Consent to Receive Notices of Electronic Filing form must be submitted for each case in which a party wishes to receive electronic notice.
