Public Notice: Reappointment of Incumbent Magistrate Judge William E. Duffin
The current term of office of United States Magistrate Judge William E. Duffin in the Eastern District of Wisconsin is due to expire on March 27, 2022. The United States District Court is required by law to establish a panel of citizens to consider the reappointment of the magistrate judge to a new eight-year term.

Decision and Order
The court granted summary judgment to the United States on its claim that a government contractor’s agreement with its subcontractor involved a cost-plus-a-percentage-of-cost system of contracting, in violation of 10 U.S.C. sec. 2306(a). The court also denied the defendants’ motion for summary judgment based on judicial estoppel.
