Interpreters play an important role in the business of the Court. Interpreters also play an important role in furthering an attorney-client relationship when the client is not fluent in the English language. The information on this page is intended to inform the Bar on the availability of interpreters in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, as well as to provide contract and fee information, guidance, and applicable forms for contract court interpreters.

The Central Violations Bureau (CVB) processes citations (tickets) issued on federal property such as federal buildings, national parks, military installations, post offices, Veteran Affairs medical centers, national wildlife refuges, and national forests. The Central Violations Bureau also processes violation notices for violations of federal law that occur outside federal property, for example, migratory bird offenses that occur on private property.
