Kids, Courts, and Citizenship
Kids, Courts, and Citizenship (KCC) is a program for City of Milwaukee students, created by the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association in partnership with the Court, Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the U.S. Probation Office and the U.S. Marshal's Office in the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Purpose:
The Eastern District of Wisconsin follows the Judicial Conference policy on the electronic availability of transcripts.
The Eastern District of Wisconsin allows attorneys to electronically file restricted and sealed documents into civil cases. Sealed cases will continue to be filed in paper format along with a PDF version of the documents. Filers are able to choose between restricting the document to case participants or completely sealing the document so that it is available only to the judge. Filers may also restrict or seal attachments to the main document.
