Notice of Changes Proposed by the Eastern District of Wisconsin Local Rules Committee
The Local Rules Committee has recommended, and the judges of the Eastern District of Wisconsin have approved proposed changes to the Local Rules. Please see redline version for proposed changes.
New Option for Pro Se (Non-Prisoner) Litigants: Register to Receive Electronic Notices
Pro se (non-prisoner) litigants may now register to receive Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) by email, in place of paper copies delivered by mail. When a pro se party in a case has registered and consented to receive electronic notice, the court and counsel will no longer serve paper copies of filings on that party. Electronic service through CM/ECF will satisfy the service obligation.
